Handy for Tyler! The fearless lead artist opened up about his sexuality in the new issue of ‘Moving Stone,’ uncovering despite anything that might have happened before that he is gay.
Neon Trees lead vocalist Tyler Glenn, who has been a Mormon his entire life, is uncovering that he is gay in another meeting with Rolling Stone magazine. In the March 28 issue, the Utah local concedes, “I’ve generally felt like I’m an open book, but clearly I haven’t been totally.”

Tyler says he knew he was gay at a youthful age, yet chosen not to tell anybody.
“I had my pulverizes on fellows all around secondary school, yet it was never a staggering thing until my twenties,” Tyler says. “At that point I’d be dating young ladies and in adoration with my straight companion and it was the most exceedingly bad feeling on the planet.”
Growing up Mormom made turning out considerably more challenging, because of the traditionalist religion’s stance on same-sex relational unions.
“We were dependably taught, and I loathe this saying, ‘tolerance,’” he says in regards to the congregation’s perspectives on homosexuality. “The main time that felt distinctive was the point at which the Prop 8 thing came up.”
Tyler Glenn Credits Others Who Have Come Out
Tyler chose to turn out as a gay man in October 2013, when he was composing melodies for Neon Trees’ third collection Pop Psychology. He happens to say that a significant number of those tunes are about his time in the storage room.
The vocalist credits others in people in general eye who have turned out for providing for him persuasion to do the same thing.
“I truly cherish the sum of the games deduces that are advancing as of late. I acknowledged Michael Sam was similar to, ‘I need to have the capacity to go to the films and hold hands with my beau.’ Even listening to him say “sweetheart,” I was much the same as, that is cool,” Tyler says.
We are so glad for Tyler for offering his truth and now he’ll be an impulse for other people who are as of now battling to approach, and uncover their sexuality.
